Family Service Society of Yonkers (FSSY) is the premier provider of human and social services for vulnerable Westchester County residents, focusing on programs and services in housing, education, kinship, guardianship and more.

To meet the needs of the multicultural communities we serve, we have bilingual staff and provide our programs and services in English and Spanish.

I was introduced to Family Service Society of Yonkers by a shelter. I don’t know where I’d be without them. Today I have stability and a nice home. I live in a nice building in a good neighborhood, and a housekeeper comes to clean. My case manager is an incredible woman. She sees me every two weeks, and she is always coming up with ways to help me even more.

In October of 2024, FSSY entered into an affiliation agreement with Westchester Jewish Community Services (WJCS), a non-sectarian, not-for-profit organization founded in 1943 with a mission to help people of all ages and backgrounds cope with emotional, cognitive, environmental, physical, interpersonal, social, and educational challenges. Through this affiliation, WJCS and FSSY continue to deliver a broad range of comprehensive and coordinated human services that support youth, the elderly, and families in Yonkers and the Westchester community.
